Volunteers with 10,000 Trees plant a field in 2003.
10,000 Trees for the Rouge Valley is a non-profit volunteer group that is dedicated to helping the environment. Since 1990, they have restored more than 100 acres of fragile land in the Rouge Watershed with the assistance of individuals, families, governments and community groups. The species of trees are carefully chosen to attract and support wildlife, stabilize the soil, and improve the air and water quality.
On Sunday, April 27th 2003, they planted for the fourteenth consecutive year. If you would like more details about this group, please click on www.rivernen.ca/trees_1.htm
